Unearthed Arcana is designed for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1^st Edition. It can easily be used with AD&D 2^nd Edition or D&D. Gary Gygax one of the creators of the Dungeons & Dragons game authored this fantastic rulebook. This hardcover book was published in 1985.  It consists of 128 pages.  When it was released it changed the face of AD&D forever.  It introduced many changes to existing character classes, added weapon specialization, cantrips (0-level spells) and so much more.

Detailed statistical information on the fantasy races of the AD&D game.

New and controversial character classes, namely the Barbarian and Cavalier.

Additions to the Druid class. These rules allow Druids to advance up to 23rd level! Remember when 14th level was the ultimate!

Rules for the Thief-Acrobat.

A new character attribute. Comeliness. Lets you know just how good-looking your character really is. Still used at my gaming table!

New character spells, including cantrips which could be described as a 0-level spell. Also still used at my gaming table.

Social class and rank tables to determine a characters background. Very cool.

And so much more! This is a great addition to the AD&D game system and also a piece of gaming history.

* Yes, I know there is a kit for a barbarian and a Complete Book of Barbarians,  but, they do not compare with the original class!

CONDITION

This book is in  Very Good to Fair condition.  The cover shows moderate wear including corner and edge wear, light scuffing and scratches.  The binding has failed, and the first 26 pages are loose and have heavy edge wear and notches, Otherwise it shows moderate wear, a couple of small light discolorations and a few stray pencil marks.  If not for the binding problems and related damage, it would be in very good condition.
