DESCRIPTION This module for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition is perhaps one of the deadliest modules ever written. Gary Gygax, a dungeon master with a reputation for showing players no mercy, certainly outdid even himself with The Tomb of Horrors. Designed for Characters of levels 10-14. But don't worry. The Tomb of Horrors can easily kill characters of much higher levels! This is the printing from 1981 with the green cover.
This module was originally used for the Official ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS tournament at Origins 1. The author wishes to thank Mr. Alan Lucien who was kind enough to submit some of the ideas for this dungeon.Included herein are background information, the Legend of the Tomb, and possible locations for the tomb on the WORLD OF GREYHAWK map. Also included are DM notes, characters specially designed for the module, and numerous illustrations to be shown to the players.
SYNOPSIS
In the far reaches of the world, under a lost and lonely hill lies the sinister...
Tomb of Horrors!
This labyrinthine crypt is filled with terrible traps, strange and ferocious monsters, riches and magical treasures, and somewhere within waits rests the evil Demi-Lich.!
