DESCRIPTION

Roots of Evil  is designed for Advanced  Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition.   It can be easily adapted for AD&D 1st edition or even for D&D.   Roots of Evil will challenge characters of levels 9-12.  This is the sequel to From the Shadows, but it can also be played as a stand alone adventure.  Authored by Eric Haddock and David Wise it was published in 1993. In this adventure the Lords of  Ravenloft escape to the Prime Material Plane, so it can be placed into any AD&D campaign on any world.

SYNOPSIS

The Grand Conjunction has come to pass!

As a result the lords of Ravenloft have broken through the mists, and escaped into your world.  Bit by bit monsters of the demiplane of dread are following behind.  In the midst of it all stand Azalin the Lich and Strahd von Zarovich, playing a game of power with deadly stakes.  If you don't act quickly death will be the least of your worries!  Can you save the universe, as well as yourself? Until the dark powers recapture the lords of Ravenloft, no place is safe...

CONDITION

This terrifying module is in Very Good/Excellent condition.  The cover has some corner rounding, a few creases at the fold, and is a bit worn at the edges.  It also shows some shelfwear, mostly on the back.  The inside has slightly frayed corners, slight notches at the top, and the back cover page is a bit discolored.  There are no marks of any kind.
