DESCRIPTION The Assassin's Knot is a 32-page adventure designed for Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 1st Edition. It can easily be adapted for AD&D 2nd Edition or D&D. The Assassin's Knot was authored by Len Lakofka and was published in 1983. It will challenge characters of levels 2-5. This is the second module in the Lendore Isle series. SYNOPSIS The Baron of Restenford is dead!
The first day following his death, Restenford was a hornet's nest of activity. No one was allowed to enter or leave. Rumors hinted that the body was left in a condition that made clerical restoration impossible. That evening came an urgent summons from the reclusive sorcerer Pelltar, whose council lasted far into the night. By midmorning of the next day you are well on your way to Garrotten, a small peaceful town with a reputation for housing a deadly band of assassins.
