DESCRIPTION

Amid the barren wastelands of Athas lies the scattered city states, each in the grip of its own, tyrannical sorceror-king. Protecting their own positions with dark magic, they demand absolute obedience. The restless mobs are placated with bread and circuses - the arenas overflow with spectators seeking release from their harsh lives.
The land outside the cities belongs to no one. Savage elves race across the deserts while insectoid thri-kreen satisfy their taste for blood. Dwarves labor at projects beyond the scope of men, and feral halflings lie in ambush.
Athas is a land of deadly magic and powerful psionics that offers no promise of glory or even of survival. Those who do not have the cunning to face life on Athas will surely perish - leaving nothing but bones bleached white under the blistering rays of the Dark Sun.

CONDITION

 This campaign setting is generally in Good to Very Good condition.  The Box is in Good condition, one corner is split, there are some discolorations and surface tears at the edges, but with a little tape it will be very sturdy.  The DM's Flip Book  shows wear to the cover and stand, moderate corner and edge wear and one corner is dented, but the pages are very clean and nice.  The Player's Aid cards have two dinged corners, and the same wear as the DM's book. The Wanderer's Journal shows light scuffing, corner and edge wear.  The Rulebook has one page that was creased during printing, light scuffing and corner and edge wear.  A Little Knowledge shows corner and edge wear.  The maps show only light wear at the corners and folds.  This awesome box set also includes the original RPGA Advertising, TSR Survey Card, a 1991 Fall/Winter TSR Catalog, and of course the Complete Psionics Handbook Errata Sheet.
