DESCRIPTION

Death Ascendant is designed for Advanced  Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition.   It can be easily adapted for AD&D 1st edition or even for D&D.   This is the second part of the Grim Harvest series and is designed to follow Death Unchained, and be followed by Requiem but can be played as a stand alone adventure.  While the tarokka cards play a major role in this adventure, there was no deck included, but you can use any deck of playing cards.  The tarokka deck was included with the Forbidden Lore boxed set and the Ravenloft 2nd Edition boxed set.  Death Ascendant will challenge characters of levels 6-8. Authored by Lisa Smedman it was published in 1996. 

SYNOPSIS

Death is in the cards....

The Remnants of the Ebon Fold are cutting a path through the Falkovian countryside, draining travelers of their life force and leaving withered corpses in their wake.  Hot on their trail, you meet a lone survivor of one of these deadly attacks, a young vistani man with an extraordinary skill for fortune telling.  His tarokka deck helps close the gap between you and the assassins.  In Nartok, the Temple of Eternal Order gives succor to your enemies and seems to ba aligned with the secret police.  This unholy alliance bodes ill for you as well as for the local citizens.  Can you find the truth in time to avert the disaster predicted by the cards? 

CONDITION

This module is in Excellent/Excellent condition.  The cover shows slight corner rounding, and a fe small notches around the edge.  The interior is very nice only the lightest of wear.  This a a great adventure with 64 pages of action and a very cool full color poster map of the Temple of Eternal Order.
