DESCRIPTION

This 1999 reprint of the classic module is designed for Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set. It is an introductory module written by Gary Gygax for a beginning D.M. and players. It includes many helpful features for a novice D.M. such as legends of the area, history and background information, pre-generated characters, and tips on how to be an effective D.M.  It also details a small keep and the nearby Caves of Chaos. It can be easily adapted for AD&D 1st or 2nd edition. This module was originally published in 1981.  It has been conjectured by Wizards of the Coast that no other module in TSR history has been adventured in by more people.  This edition is identical to the original with the exception of the Silver Anniversary logo on the lower left corner.  See the original version.

CONDITION

This module is in Near Mint condition.  It shows only the lightest of wear.
