DESCRIPTION In Search of the Unknown is designed for the Dungeons and Dragons Basic Set. It is an introductory module written by Mike Carr for a beginning D.M. and players. It includes many helpful features for a novice D.M. such as legends of the area, history and background information, pre-generated characters, and tips on how to be an effective D.M. The dungeon is a "stock your own" setting. There are lists of monsters, treasures and traps at the back of the module. The DM can then pick and choose which monsters and treasures go where. Therefore no two DM's will be running the same adventure! It can be easily adapted for AD&D 1st or 2nd Edition. This module was published in 1981 and will challenge characters of levels 1-3.

CONDITIONThis classic adventure is in Good to Very Good condition. The cover shows heavy corner rounding, creases at the fold and a few small discolorations. The maps are very clean but faded with age. The adventure book has probably never been used, there is an ink discoloration on the front, probably from the printer and a few small discolorations. The pages are still white and crisp and the booklet resists being opened.

CONDITION
This classic adventure is in Good condition. The
cover shows heavy wear including creased and rounded corners, fraying
and a 3" split in the fold, and the maps inside are very faded, but
clean. The adventure book has terrible staple rust, is grey with
age, has creases, corner and edge wear, and two pages are faded,
but still completely legible. This copy has seen a lot of use but
is, other than the staple rust discolorations, very clean and nice.
