DESCRIPTION
In Search of the Unknown is designed for the Dungeons and Dragons Basic Set. It is an introductory module written by Mike Carr for a beginning D.M. and players. It includes many helpful features for a novice D.M. such as legends of the area, history and background information, pre-generated characters, and tips on how to be an effective D.M.  The dungeon is a "stock your own" setting.  There are lists of monsters, treasures and traps at the back of the module.  The DM can then pick and choose which monsters and treasures go where.  Therefore no two DM's will be running the same adventure!  It can be easily adapted for AD&D 1st or 2nd Edition. This module was published in 1981 and will challenge characters of levels 1-3.

Wait, it's O.K. I think it's just a Baby Ruth.
