Curse of Xanathon is designed for Dungeons & Dragons Expert Set.  It can easily be used with AD&D 1st or 2nd edition.  It could even be used for D&D 3e with a lot of work!  This module will challenge D&D characters of levels 5-7.  Authored by Douglas Niles and published in 1982. Curse of Xanathon combines both town and wilderness adventuring in an exciting series of five detective-type scenarios. But don’t worry you hack-n-slashers there is plenty of swordplay and spell hurling needed as well. Isn’t there always?

Something is rotten in Rhoona…

When the grotesque god, Cretia, casts his ugly shadow over the town, strange things start happening. First, Duke Stephen vanishes. Then bizarre proclamations begin coming out of the Ducal Palace…Dwarves are outlawed (no wonder they’re drunk!)…Taxes must be paid in beer….Horses must be ridden backwards. Soon the entire town is in an uproar. And a dwarven army is marching on Rhoona. Your party of brave adventurers is Rhoona’s only hope. Only you can unravel the dark mystery that plagues the town and save Rhoona from the….

The module is in Very Good to Excellent condition.  The cover has some light whiting and moderate corner rounding and creases at the fold.  the inside shows light overall wear, including corner rounding.  It is very clean and nice and has probably never been played.
