The Isle of Dread is the first in a series of adventure modules for use with the DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Expert Rules. As the first D&D wilderness adventure published by TSR Hobbies, the Isle of Dread is designed as an instructional module to help novice Dungeon Masters design their own wilderness adventures.

This module contains maps and background material for the Isle, fifteen new monsters, and suggestions for further adventures. In addition, The Isle of Dread contains a map and background information for a large continent, and eleven smaller maps for encounters on the island itself. In this module, players will push their way through dark jungles and treacherous swamps to discover the lost plateau, and the final secrets of - the Isle of Dread!

This module is in Good to Very Good condition.  The cover shows heavy corner rounding, moderate creases at the fold and light to moderate scuffing.  The  adventure book has been very neatly hole punched, and has a few smudges, light edge wear, and  moderate corner rounding.  It is clean of writing or other marks.

This copy is also in Good to Very Good condition.  The cover shows heavy corner rounding, edge wear, creases at the fold and rather heavy scuffing. The fold has split at both the top and bottom, and there are some staple rust stains on the otherwise very nice maps.  The  adventure book has a bad case of staple rust, it's corners are rounded, edges worn and a few smudges.   It is clean of writing or other marks, but is grey with age.

This copy is  in  Very Good to Good condition.  The cover has moderate corner rounding, edge wear and rather heavy scuffing, and creases at the fold.  The interior maps are very nice.  The  adventure book shows heavy edge and corner wear, the player's map and background have been removed but are included.  Part of the player's map has been used in pencil, and the DM's island map and one other map have some notes in red ink.
