DESCRIPTION
Legends and Lore is designed for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition. This book is an exact duplicate of the 1st Edition Deities & Demigods revised except for the cover and title. The cover art was changed along with many other covers in 1983 and the title was changed to avoid potential conflicts with fundamentalist Christian groups. It can easily be adapted for AD&D 2nd Edition or for D&D. Legends and Lore can be used with any world or setting. Authored by James M. Ward and Robert J. Kuntz.
If you have need of a deity, this is the book! Includes details about lots of fictional and mythical deities from the American Indian Mythos to the Sumatran Mythos. So when one of your player characters lifts their eyes to the heavens and cries out for aid, you have the answers. Does their god blast them into atoms for their impertinence, or is this a kinder, gentler deity?
CONDITION
This book is in Good condition. The cover shows moderate wear, the corners are rounded and have small tears near the binding, there is some whiting, and a smudge on the back. The previous owner's name is in very light pencil inside the front cover. The inside has corner rounding, overall light wear and a light discoloration on the outside of the cover page. The binding has begun to seperate slightly in the back.

The inside has corner rounding, overall light wear and some discolorations on a few pages. The discolorations seem to be water damage as the book has a very strong mildew odor.
