DESCRIPTION
Legends and Lore is designed for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition. This book is an exact duplicate of the 1st Edition Deities & Demigods revised except for the cover and title. The cover art was changed along with many other covers in 1983 and the title was changed to avoid potential conflicts with fundamentalist Christian groups. It can easily be adapted for AD&D 2nd Edition or for D&D. Legends and Lore can be used with any world or setting. Authored by James M. Ward and Robert J. Kuntz.
If you have need of a deity, this is the book! Includes details about lots of fictional and mythical deities from the American Indian Mythos to the Sumatran Mythos. So when one of your player characters lifts their eyes to the heavens and cries out for aid, you have the answers. Does their god blast them into atoms for their impertinence, or is this a kinder, gentler deity?
CONDITION
This book is in Good to Very Good condition. The cover shows heavy wear, the corners are rounded and damaged with the cardboard showing, there is light scuffing, some scratches and the paper is creased on the back. The original owner's name, address and phone number are inside the front and there is a small discoloration inside the back. The inside is nice with corner rounding, light wear, one tiny discoloration and one of the pages is a bit notched at the bottom edge.
