This collection of classic modules, Against the Giants, is designed for use with the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons game 1st Edition. It can easily be used with D&D or AD&D 2nd Edition. Published in 1981, this module will challenge characters of levels 8-12. Authored by Gary Gygax, one of the creators of the Dungeons and Dragons Game, and also one of the deadliest adventure designers of all time. This 32 page adventure was originally published as three separate modules; G1 The Steading of the Hill Giant Chief, G2 The Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl and G3 Hall of the Fire Giant King.SYNOPSIS
Large bands of giants have been marauding about the countryside, wreaking havoc among the lands of men. What malignant force could have united these different bands of giants together and given them a common goal? The quest to answer this riddle begins at the “Steading of the Hill Giant Chief”. It then leads to the “Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl.” Will it conclude in the “Hall of the Fire Giant King?”

CONDITION
This copy is in Very Good to Excellent condition. The outer cover is in Very Good condition showing moderate creases at the fold, edgewear and corner rounding, and is lightly scuffed all over. The maps on the inside are beautiful. The inner cover is in Very Good condition showing only a bent corner. The adventure book is in Excellent condition. It shows light use, and 1 really rounded corner. The pages are still white.

CONDITION
This copy is in Good condition. The outer cover has heavy creases at the fold and corner rounding, as well as light scuffing all over. There are some discolorations on the back and on one of the interior maps. There are also some pen notes in the margin of the maps, but neither the discoloration or writing obscures any of the map. The inside cover looks like it also caught some of whatever caused the cover discoloration, and also has some notes and highlighting on the maps. There is staple rust in the fold. The adventure book has light staple rust, discolorations, heavy wear at the corners and edges, and the pages are grey with age. There is some highlighting of the text on one page. This copy isn't pretty, but it would make a great playing copy.

CONDITION
This copy is in Good condition. The cover shows heavy wear including scuffing, creases at the fold, corner rounding and edge wear. The maps are really nice. The inner cover has moderate creases at the fold, and the bottom of the fold has folded in. There are some discolorations on the margin of the maps inside. The inside is heavily worn at the corners and edges, and the lower right hand corner looks a bit chewed. It's staples are rusty, and pages grey with age. There is no writing or other marks.
