The Forgotten Realms Campaign setting is designed for Advanced Dungeons &  Dragons 1st Edition. It can easily be adapted for AD&D 2nd Edition or for D&D.  The Forgotten Realms Campaign setting contains everything you need to begin running the Realms!   This printing is from 1987.
 
 

SYNOPSIS

This boxed set includes:

Cyclopedia of the Realms.  A 96-page Player's book which includes entries on all commonly known areas, cities, people and things in alphabetical order.  There are also maps of the more well known cities and lands.

DM's Sourcebook of the Realms.  A 96-page book for the DM only!  Details the running of the Realms, including how to bring existing characters into the Realms, and two introductory mini adventures.

Maps.  Four full color maps show the entire lands and details of the more well know areas.

Two transparent overlays.  These overlays make telling the distance on the maps easy.

CONDITION

The box itself is in Good condition.  It is dented in on the top and very worn around the edges, with "whiting" at all the corners.  It is still sturdy. The books are in Excellent condition showing only slight general wear.  The Maps are in Very Good condition showing light wear.  This copy has one of the transparent map overlays.  A great playing copy!

CONDITION

The box itself is in Fair to Good condition.  It is dented in on the top and two corners have torn and been repaired with tape.  There is some light scuffing all over and heavy scuffing at the edges and corners.  It is still sturdy.  The books are in Very Good condition showing moderate wear on the covers and light wear on the interiors.  The Maps are in Excellent condition showing light wear.  This copy has one of the transparent map overlays.  A great playing copy!
